Petri Winery
Get to know us and our winery and gain insight into our work, our philosophy and our origins.

Our wines originate in a region characterised by limestone soil and fresh winds; where every vintage is different and every year calls for more precision.
The wines embody a philosophy of open-mindedness, they are deeply rooted in the Pfalz e and are best enjoyed in good company. A philosophy strongly supported by the Petri family!

We are Philipp and Maximilian Petri, two brothers, who are continuing the story of fourteen generations and to which we are adding our own creative ideas.
Philipp is at home in the vineyard and the cellar—precise, patient, and in tune with the vintage. Maximilian is in his element where the wine meets the people—calm, open, and cordial. However, where we are united is in the joy of our craft, the connection with people and the desire to understand our vineyards and our wines a little better every year.

The Pfalz is more than just home, it represents a way of life. It is here that we learned what shapes us and our wines.

When one thinks of the Petri family, one thinks of hospitality, dedication and a spirit of collaboration. Whether occupied with the details of the vineyards, the varieties of grapes or the process of maturation, we love what we do and it is always done with the aim of understanding and developing our wines better each year.
However, one thing is particularly important to us, namely: an unpretentious and authentic attitude. Offering people a warm welcome, engaging in honest conversation, and simply enjoying life. We love good food, the sense of community and everything the Pfalz represents. We couldn't imagine a better place in which to live!
We want our wines to reflect exactly that: precision, quality and passion but without losing their connection to people, a relaxed spirit and the joy of life.
